Abstract：Withtheimplementationofthe"BeltandRoadInitiative"，thenumberofinternationalstudentshasben continuouslyincreasingandpostgraduatestudentshavebecomethemostimportantcomponentof intemational students.Inorder toimprovethecultivationquaityofgraduatestudentsstudyinginChinaandpromotetheBeltandRoadinternationaltalent cultivatioprogram，theresearchonteachingmethodsandcuriculumpracticeofthecourseStel-ConcreteCompositeStructure forthegraduatestudentsstudyinginChinamajoringinStructuralEngineringwascarredoutwhichintroducesthebasic informationandcharactersticsofthecourse，theproblemsinteachingaswellasthereformandpracticeoftheteaching methods.Themethodsandcountermeasures tooptimizetheconstructionofthecourseare proposed，including speedingupthe processofculturaladaptationforthegraduatestudentsstudyinginChina，buildingacompleteknowledgesystemofthecourse， writing the complete course handouts，carrying out the hybrid teaching mode of "online + offline"，and optimizing the assessment methodofthecourse.Theresearchcan provideamoresolidfoundation for graduatestudentsstudyinginChina toengagein topic research and engineering practice in the later stage.
