Province,51080o China;2.Guangzhou Sport University, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, 51050 China [Abstract] This research explores the influence of physical exercise on the cognitive function development of primary and secondary school students and its educational implications.By systematicall reviewing relevant empirical studies inrecent years,itisconfirmedthatphysical exercisehasasignificantpositiveefectonthecognitivefunctionof primary andsecondaryschool students.This effct is reflected notonlyin the increase of intrinsic neurotrophic factors expression in the brain,as wellas the enhancement ofexplicit cognitivebehaviors.However, there is stillacommonconcept in curent educational practice that emphasizes cultureover physicaleducation,aswellas a phenomenon of verbal emphasis butactual neglect,which weakens the important valueof physical exercise in promoting thedevelopment ofstudents' cognitive function.In view of this,this paper reviews recent research progresson how physical exercise promotes the development of cognitive functions,aiming to provide theoreticalsupportand practical reference for future educational practice. In response to theconceptual biases and implementation dificulties in current practice,the paper proposes
thefollowingeducationalimplications:breakingtheiceofconcepts,itusesscienceandfacts toovercomeprejudice; practical innovation,itpromotes thesupply-sidereformof physical educationcurricula;technologyempowerment, it optimizes exercise load and realizes the visualization of effects.
