【Abstract】 Starting diffculty of diesel engine has been a problem for a long time，the causes behind it are complicated，and some fault mechanisms areobscure，which brings great challenges to maintenance work.From the perspective of maintenance，this paper summarizesand analyzes the common factors thatcause the dificulty of starting diesel engines in thecurrent market，and lists the troubleshooting methods toensure the eficient operationof the engine.
