A Predictive Gear Decision Control Method for AMT Vehicles is Presented

【Abstract】This paper introduces a predictive gear decision control method for AMT vehicles.On the basis of twoparameter gear decision-making，this method judges the diference between the speed after gear upshift and the speed in geardownshift after thecompletionof gearupshift bypredicting the speedloss，and finalldecides whether to implement gear upshift or maintain the currnt gear，soas to avoid frequent gear upshift，power shortage and other problems caused by too smalldifference between thespeed after gear upshift and the speed ingear downshift due to excessive speed loss. Improve vehicle performance.
