【Abstract】 Carbon deposition of automotive engines seriously affects engine performance and overall vehicle operation.Eficient and acurate carbon deposition detection methodis the keyto ensure normal engine operation.This paper systematically reviewsavarietyof automotive enginecarbon deposition detection methods,including those based on physical quantity,vision,bigdataand other typesofdetection methods,elaborates theprinciples,characteristics and application examples of each method,makes up for shortcomings,paysatention todata securityand model optimization,andforecasts the future development trend.The aim is to providea more reliablescheme for the research and practical application in this field.
