Research on the Development Characteristics Color Cognition in Preschool Painting Activities

Abstract:With thedeepening preschooleducationreformin China,theimportancecultivatingchildren'sartistcliteracy is increasinglyprominent.The study focusesonthedevelopmentallawscolorcognitioninchildren'spaintingactivities, systematicallrevealingitsstagecharacteristicsandinternal mechanisms.Researchhasfoundthatchildren'scolorcognition presents a progressvedevelopment frombasic recognition tomultidimensional perception: intheearlystage(2-3yearsold),a primarycolorrecognitionsystemisestablishedthroughconcreteobjects,inthemiddlestage(4-5yearsold),graduallmastering therulescolormixingandformingcoloratributecognition,andinthelaterstage(5-6yearsold),theycancompreesively use hue,brightness,ndsaturationforemotionalexpresion.Researchhasshownthatcolorselectionhasadyamicemotional tendency,withwarmtones tenused forexpressingpositiveemotions,whilecooltones are mapped tocalmorconflicting moods.Based on the above findings,the study proposes a promotion strategy that combines environmental immersion with gamified teaching.Bycreating multi-dimensionalcolor interaction scenes and designing embodied cognitive activities,it effectively enhanceschildren'scolor decodingabilityand aesthetic literacy.
