Abstract：As the most intuitive and emotionally expressive element in painting，the value of color extends far beyond representing forms，imitatingshapes，orappyingcolorsaccording toategory.Intheprocessofatisticpractice，"repetition" servesas acriticalstrategy that enablescolor to transcend mere visualrepresentationand decorative function，leading to the depening and rebirth of meaning.This paper explores the aesthetic principles and psychological mechanisms behind the "repetition"ofcolor，drawingonclassiccasesfrombothEasternand Westernarthistoryaswellasmodernandconteporary painting practices.It analyzes how "repetition" evolves from a mere technicalmethod intoaform offormal rhetoric and philosophical contemplation.The paper argues thatthe "repetition"ofcolor does not signify the exhaustionof meaning or monotoous arrangement.Instead，throughcontextual shifts，theaccumulationofmaterialityandinteractionwithviewers，it constructsadynamic，layered systemof meaninggeneration，thereby infusing painting with enduring vitalityandcontemporary relevance.
