Abstract：Thecolorlayering techniqueofDunhuang murals，with itsunique layeringandcolor expresivenesshas become animportantrepresentativeoftraditionalart.Withthedevelopmentofcontemporaryart，this techniquehasachievedcrossborderntegrationwithvariosartisticfossuchasmodepaintingvisualdesign，digitalart，andfshiondesign.isarticle deconstructsandreconstructs thetraditionalcolorlayering techniques of Dunhuang murals，analyzing the basic principles， mainprocesses，andmethodsofcombining withthertechniqus，andapliestheconceptofcolorlayeringtomodernartistic expression，which notonlycontinues the spiritualcoreofEaster aesthetics butalsopromotes theorganiccommectionbetween tradition and modernity.This integrationnotonlyenriches the expresive language ofcontemporaryartbut alsoopens up new paths for the contemporary expression of traditional culture.
