A Study on the Symbolic Nature and Cultural Metaphor of Colors in Traditional Chinese Painting

Abstract：Thisarticle focuses on thesymbolismandculturalmetaphoroftraditional Chinese paintingcolors.Starting fromthe conotationsofcolorsymbolsandcultural metaphors，itdelves into thesymbol systemof traditional Chinesepaintingcolors， revealstheirmulti-layeredculturalmetaphoricalmeanings，andexploresthetransformationpathof raditionalcolorsymbolsin contemporarytimesandtheposibilityofcro-culturaldialogue.Thestudyfids thattraditional Chinesepaintingcolorsarenot onlyvisualsymbolsbutalsoacomplex culturalsystemthatembodiesphilosophy，ethics，andcosmology.Theirsymbolismand metaphoricalnaturehavebeencontinuouslyeconstructedinhistoricalevolution，providingimportantresources forcontempoary artistic creation.
