Abstract：Thispaperrevealsthecharacteristicsofthe"ArchitecturalDesignII"courseandthethreemajorlimitationsof traditionalteaching，analyzesthefiveadvantagesofproject-basedteaching，integratestheprojectsystemintotheteachingrefo of the"ArchitecturalDesignIcourse，andusesthecoastalcityresorthoteldesignprojectasanexample toexplorethe practicefprojectbasedteachingTheteachingprocesssupportscorporatepractice，reflectsstudentsdesignsujectivityfocuses onpracticality，emphasizesinteractiveinspiration，andbuildsadiversifiedteachingevaluationsystemandfeedbackreflection mechanism.Aftertwoyearsofteachingreformandconstructionpractice，itwasfoundthatproject-based teachingcaneffectively improvestudents‘comprehensivearchitecturaldesigncapabilies，teamworkandcommunicationskils，andinternshipemployment competitivenessandachievetheexpectedknowledgegoals，abilitygoals，andliteracygoals.Atthesametime，italsofacedthree chalenges，andsubsequentlyproposedthreecopingstrategies，whichprovidedareferenceforteachingreformwithpracticalvalue for similar courses in architectural design.
