Abstract：Asaneweducationalmodelintegratinginternational Chineseeducationandvocationaleducation，"Chinese + Vocational Skill"isaninevitableresultofthestrongdemandforcompoundtechnicalandskiledlocaltalentsinthe transformationanddevelopmentofinternationalChineseeducationandthecontinuousadvancementof"theBeltandRoad Initiative".Through an analysis ofthe learning needs for"Chinese + Vocational Skills" among 185 Chinese learners from the NationalUniversityofLaosandotherinstitutions，thedatashowsthattheChineseproficiencyandeconomicinvestmentin Chinese learning of Laouniversity students have a significant impact on their learning needs for "Chinese + Vocational Skills". Intermsof targetneeds，employmentandexistingjobrequirementsarethemainmotivationsforLaouniversitylearnerstochose "Chinese + Vocational Skills"courses.Studentshope toachieve thesetargetneedsbyimproving their Chinese listeningand speaking abilities.The main diffculties faced by Lao college students in learning "Chinese + Vocational Skills" courses include： excesively high diffcultyin Chinese languageand professional courses;lack of teaching resources for "Chinese + Vocational Skill";ndtheabsenceofaChineselearningatmosphereinLaos.Theseisuescanbeaddressedbystrengtheningmacro-policy supportandestablishingmultilateralcoperationmechanisms;improvinginstitutionalmanagementsystemsandoptimizingthe structure of course supply，， among other measures.
