Abstract：Hydrologyisacrucialdisciplinaryfieldforwaterresourcesandecosystemprotection，makingtheteaching methodsandtheirreformenhancementofrelatedcoursesparticularlycritical.Withtherapiddevelopmentofgeographic informationsciencetechnology，GeographicInformationSystem（GIS）techniquesandplatformshavebeenwidelyappliedinthe fieldofhydrologyandwaterresources.Underthebackgroundofeducationalreforminthenewera，itisessentialtostrengthen theapplicationofthistechnologyinhydrologicalteachingpractices.Basedonyearsofteachingexperienceandfeedback，this paper proposes a teaching model combining "classroom theoretical analysis + case-based practical operations".Through diversified teachingapproachesthatintegratetheorywithpracticethismodelcanfullyleveragestudentssubjectiveinitiative，cultivatetheir learninginterests，andenablethemtomasterpracticalhydrologicalskils.Tisteachingmodelexplorationcanfectivelyimprove teachingqualityandachievethegoalofcultivatingspecialized talents inhydrologyandwaterresources for thenewera.
