Abstract：ThecourseOptimization TheoryandMethodsforgraduatestudentsservesasavitalcomponentof educationin science，engineering，andeconomics/managementdisciplines.Thequalityofitsteachingdirectlyinfluencesthecultivationof students'researchabities，practicalskils，andinnovativecapacities.Thispaperaimstoexploretheapplicationandreform measuresofheuristicandcase-basedteaching methodsinthiscourse.Throughthepresentationoftwodetailedcases，itanalyzes theadvantagesandimplementationstepsof heuristicteachingandcase-basedteaching methods，aiming toprovideareferecefor enhancingtheteachingqualityofthe Optimization TheoryandMethodscourseforgraduatestudents.Inthefuture，theauthors willcontiuetokeepabreastofthedynamicsofteachingreformingraduateoptimizationcourses，activelyintroducenewteaching concepts and methods，and promote the sustained development and innovation of curriculum construction.
