Abstract:ThecourseOptimization TheoryandMethodsforgraduatestudentsservesasavitalcomponentof educationin science,engineering,andeconomics/managementdisciplines.Thequalityofitsteachingdirectlyinfluencesthecultivationof students'researchabities,practicalskils,andinnovativecapacities.Thispaperaimstoexploretheapplicationandreform measuresofheuristicandcase-basedteaching methodsinthiscourse.Throughthepresentationoftwodetailedcases,itanalyzes theadvantagesandimplementationstepsof heuristicteachingandcase-basedteaching methods,aiming toprovideareferecefor enhancingtheteachingqualityofthe Optimization TheoryandMethodscourseforgraduatestudents.Inthefuture,theauthors willcontiuetokeepabreastofthedynamicsofteachingreformingraduateoptimizationcourses,activelyintroducenewteaching concepts and methods,and promote the sustained development and innovation of curriculum construction.
