Abstract： Veterans are a precious aset to the Party，the State，and the army.This paper studies the current status of standardization development in veteran afairs in Shanghai，analyzes existing bottlenecks and shortcomings，and proposes the framework for a standards system in this field.Itoffers countermeasures and suggestions to advance the standardization of veteran affairs，and explores new pathways for enhancing thedevelopmentof veteran-related initiatives in Shanghai.
