【Abstract】The electromagnetic clutch for automotive water pumps serves as a critical component in engine cooling systems,whosereliabilitydirectlyimpactstheengine's thermal managementperformanceandoverallvehicleoperational safety.Inrecentyears,intellgentdiagnostictechnologiesbasedondeeplearing,multi-sensordatafusion,andsignal processing have provided innovative solutions for condition monitoring and fault early-warning of electromagnetic clutches,enabling high-precisionand eficientfault identificationand prediction.This paper systematicallsummarizes common failure modes of automotive water pump electromagnetic clutches,analyzes the architecture and working principles ofintellgentdiagnostic technologies,andoutlines futureresearchdirections,aiming toprovideboth theoetical referencesand practical guidancefor enhancing thereliabilityandinteligentcapabilitiesof electromagneticclutches.
