【Abstract】This article focuses on the early warning and prevention technology of thermal runaway in the battery managementsystemofnew energyvehicles.Firstly,analyze thethermal runaway mechanism of lithium-ionbateries, including thechainreactiontrigeredbymechanical,electricalandthermalabuse,andexploretheinfluenceofmaterials, structure,charge anddischarge strategiesandenvironmental factors onsafety.Secondly,sort out the evolution path of batery management system thermalrunaway earlywarning technology fromthreshold model toartificial inteligencedriven,and proposeanoptimizationschemeof multi-parameter fusionandmulti-physicalfieldcoupling; Finaly,through caseanalysis,preventionandcontrolstrategiesareproposedfromfouraspects:design,balance,thermalanagementand operation and maintenance.It is pointed out that sensor accuracy,algorithm robustness and standard uniformity are the technical bottlenecks.
