【Abstract】This paper conducts research on the application of autonomous driving technology in the reform of policecar management.At present，the modern management of police vehicles is confronted with problems such as high pressure in safety management，insuicient informatization level，andan imperfect emergencyresponse mechanism.The autonomous driving technology of police cars achieves precise operation through pre-event prediction， in-event control and post-event feedback.It features rapid response，precise braking，and danger avoidance.Its key cores include perception support，positioning planning and decision-making monitoring.To promote theapplicationof thistechnology，itisnecessarytoformulateprotectionstrategiesandestablishanevaluationsystemcovering hardware， software，vehicle testing and economic assessment.Research shows that autonomous driving technology can enhance theoperational effciencyofpolice vehiclesand theeffectiveness ofpolice work.Inthefuture，itwillplayasignificant role in police work and provide a strong guarantee for public safety.
