【Abstract】This paper focuses on the application of mechanical manufacturing automation in the precision processing of automotive parts.Firstly,itelaborates onthedefinition,development history,corecontents (including numerical control machining technology,industrialrobottechnology,etc.)and thecurrnt application status in industry of mechanical manufacturingautomation,among whichthe automotive industry is the field with the most extensive and in-depth application.Then,the specific requirements for quality and precision in the precision procesing of automotive parts are analyzed.Quality involves multiple dimensions such as functional compliance,while precision is classifiedandcontrolled according to thesystem functional zoning.Finally,theapplication paths are discussed, including the application of automated equipment, process optimization and system integration,as wellas the contribution to the improvement of production eficiency and precision.Itisalso pointedout that enterprises need to rationallydeploy automated equipment toadapt to industry trends.The research aims to providereferences for manufacturing enterprises to enhance their processing capabilities and levels of automotive parts.
