【Abstract】There are risks of thermal runaway and interfacial side reactions in high specific energy lithiumionbateriesunder highvoltageoperation,whichafectthesystemsafetyandcyclestability.Thispapersystematically studiesthe types and mechanisms of action of surface modification technologies for cathode materials,analyzes the regulatory efectsof modification methods onthe thermal stability,structural integrityand side reaction behaviorof materials,and further explores the influencelawsof diferentsurface modification strategies onthe initial capacity,rate performanceand long-term capacity retentionrate.Theresearchhas clarifiedthecore roleofsurface structure regulation inenhancing thermal managementperformanceand energyrelease eficiency,providing theoreticalsupportandtechnical paths for the material engineering optimizationof high-safetyandhigh-energy-densitylithium-ionbaterysystems.
