【Abstract】This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the idle shudder and high-pressure fuel pump leakage and misfire faults that occurred in the N55 engine of the BMW 5 Series G30 model. Through detailed troubleshoting and testing，it was found that the abnormaloperation of the high-pressure fuel pump was the maincause of the faults. After replacing the high-pressure fuel pump，the faults were resolved.This paper provides a reference for the diagnosis andrepair of similar engine failures，contributing to enhanced repair eficiency and quality，and ensuring the longterm stable operation of vehicles.
