【Abstract】Against the backdrop of the continuous development of computer-aided design and manufacturing technology，its application in automotive design has become increasingly mature，notonlysignificantly enhancing design effciencybut also making theresults moreaccurate.To further promotethe development of computer-aideddesign in China's automotive industry，this paper，basedonthetwofundamental directionsofautomotivedesign，firstanalyzes the application value of computer-aided design，and then explores its practical application in automotive design.
