【Abstract】This paper addresses the issue of sealing failure caused by insuficient sealing pressure of automotive connector plugs.By establishing a finite element model，it studiesthe relationship between theouter diameterof the plug and the force required to displace it from the connector，fiting a curve and determining the standard selection parameters for the plug under the same application conditions using experimental data.This result provides engineering support forthe standard selectionof connectorplugsand is significantfor enhancing the reliability of automotive connectors.
