【Abstract】The application of new energy in mining trucks represents an important direction for the mining industry's transition toward green and low-carbon development.A range-extended hybrid mining truck is a mining typevehicle that combines two power sources: a fuel engine and a power battery. Compared with pure electric mining trucks,it offers broader applicationscenarios while avoiding therange limitationsof pure electric systems.The energy distribution method between theengine and power batery not only affects the selection of key parameters such as power and capacity for both power sources but also influences system economy. Based on equivalent fuel consumption rateand aimingtooptimize system economy,thisarticleanalyzes the impactsofpower-following strategies-including fixed-point control,load-based control,rear-end power demand,and State of Charge (SOC)-on power battery capacity and economic performance.
