Research on the Control Scheme and Energy-saving Methods of Air Conditioning in Automotive Painting

【Abstract】To address the diffculty in precisely controlling the temperature and humidityof the spray painting room in automotive painting workshopsand the high energy consumption of traditional systems,this paper studies the airconditioning control technology forpainting.Itis determined thattheoptimal temperatureandhumidityrange in the spray painting room is $2 5 { \sim } 2 8 . 3 \mathrm { \textC }$ ,and the relative humidity is 58%~65 % . The core difficulties of strong coupling of temperatureand humidityandlarge timedelayareanalyzed.Itis pointedoutthattheseasonal proportional-integraldiffrential control has defects such as reliance on manual mode switching,delayed response to extreme weather,4 to 5oscilltions required for stabilizationupon startup,and high energy consumption.Subsequently,the advancedcontrol and optimization technology architecture of "external server + programmable logic controller",the principle of multivariable modeling and prediction,as well as the features of6-region division and energy consumption priority were expounded.Verification wascariedout incombination with twoairconditioners inacertain factoryin Zhengzhou, Henan Province (with a total supply air volume of 391,400m3/h ).The results show that ACR can control the temperature fluctuation at the air outlet by ±0.5 °C and the humidity fluctuation by ±3% . It stabilizes after one overshoot upon startup.Moreover,itsaves 41,7OO yuan inelectricityfees inasinglemonth insummerandover1.2milionyuanin costs throughout the year.It can provide technical supportfor the intelligent and energy-saving upgrade ofthe coating air conditioning system.
