Abstract:Blended learningand O-PIRTASflippedclasroomare two hotresearch topics in teachingreformof universities. Inthispaper,wefirstlyanalysistheconnotationsandfeaturesoftwoaboveteachingmodels.Thenacordingtothe characteristicsofcoreprofessonalcoursesinmilitaryacademies,wepresentanewteachingmodelwhichhascombinedthe featuresofblendedlearningandO-PIRTASfippedclasroom.Withbeforeclassduringclassandafterclassoftheblended learning,thepresentedteaching modelusessevenaspectsofthe O-PIRTASflippedclasroom todesign teaching processand organizeearningactivity.Finaly,weselectthecourseof"OperationandControlofDieselPower Station"asaresearchcasefor teachingimplementation.Thepresented teachingmodelcanprovidefeasiblesolutionsfortheteachingreformofcoreprofssional courses in military academies.
