Abstract：Thepresent mastereducationisinanew stage ofhighly developingspeedandchangingrapidly.Novel phenomenonandnewmechanismsstronglychalengesthetraditionaltheoriesanddesigningmethodsinmechanicsofmaterials， andthereforesomenecessryproceduresshouldbeadvancedtobesuitableforthedevelopmentofthefuturechalenge.Some seriousproblemsexistinginthepresenteducationplanformasterdegreemajoringinmechanicsshouldbeatractedattentionand mustbeaddressed.Thispapersuppliedsomesuggestingthoughtsonsubjectcontent，testing modes，teachingstyleanddiversified assessmentthroughcuriculum.Themainobjectiveistopromotethewelltrainingofmechanicsthinkingandimprovingthe ability to solve the actual engineering problems for master students majoring in mechanics.
