Abstract：Intheeraofpopularizationofhighereducation，itisnecesarytostrengthenthecultivationofteachers‘teaching abilitytoimprovethestructuralqualityofhigherducation，andconstructivistepistemologyandthe"fivearts"perspectiveplay animportantleadingroleinit.Therefore，thisstudydesignedaquestionnairewithteachersfrom8universitiesinNanjing， JiangsuProvince，toexploretheinfluencingfactorsofteachersteachingabilityfromthethreelevelsofindividual，scholand society，andempiricallevaluatedteachers‘teachingperformancebycombiningthetheoryofconstructivismandtheperspectieof "fiveskill"ducationTeresultsshowthat：Firstindividualsholandsocialfactorshaveasignificantimpactoteachs teachingabilitySecond，thedevelopmentofteachers'teachingabilityisconducivetoimprovingteachingperformance.Tirdly， undertheteachingmodeofintegratingconstructivismand"fiveskils"，theroleofteachersteachingabilityinimprovingwork performance will be strengthened.
