Abstract:Withtheintroductionofnewengineeringeducationconcepts,higherengineeringeducationisundergoingprofound changes.Thenewengineringeducationemphasizesinterdisciplinaryintegration,colaborationbetweenacademiaandindustry inovationandentrepreneurshipeducation,andtheextensiveapplicationofinformationtechnology.Asacoremechanicsourse focusedoengineeringpractice,theteachingcontentandmethodsofplasticmechanicsurgentlynedtoadapttothedemandsof thenewengineeringeducationcontext.Thispaperaimstoenhancetheteachingqualityandstudentscomprehensiveabilitiesin PlasticMechanicscoursebyupdatingteachingcontent,reformingteachingmethods,andintegratingexperimentalandpractical teaching,drawingontheCDIO(Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate)engineeringeducationmodel.Byintegratingmaterialscience intothereformedteachingcontent,weaimtostrengthenthefundamentalphysicsofplastcdeformationanduseengineering examples toillustratekeyteachingmodulessuchasplasticyieldingandconstiutivemodels,therebyenhancingtheenginering relevanceofthelearnedcontent.Usingvirtualplasticityexperimentexamplestoreformteachingmethods,wewilldemonstrate specificplasticengineringexamplesintheclasrooandorganizestudentsintogroupsforself-directedpracticewithrelated examples,therebyenhancingtheirlearningabilities.TheimplementationofPlasticMechanicsteachingreformwillenrichtheourse with cutting-edgecontent and broadenstudentsknowledge base,with the goal of improving their overall quality.
