Abstract：Thecourse"FoundationofMechanical Design" studies thecommonproblems inmechanicaldesign，whichisan importantfoundationalcourseformechanicalengineeringmajors.Adheringtotheschoolseducationalpositioningcombinedwith thegoldcoursestandards，andguidedbytheideaof"strengtheningthefoundationandemphasizingimprovement，theteaching method based on "1+N+NN" problem-oriented strengthening foundation'is designed，and the multi-dimensional education model of "classroom + curriculum ideological and political science + laboratory + industrial college" is created：The whole process of ideologicalandpolicalempowermentfromthreelevels，fourdimensionsandfiveways，thatis，wefollowthe"fine，wide，new" teachingprinciple，basedonthefrontier，sientificresearchbacktotheteachingmprovetheeightofthecasroom;wintegate intotheproject，analyzethecasecultivatetheengineeringconsciousneswecarryoutcharacteristicindustrycollgecasebased on-siteteachingtoenhancepracticalability；weconnectthecurrculumwithcollegestudentsextra-currcularscientificand technologicalinovationprojectstorealizeheproject-riven，studentparticipationandteacherguidedpracticalteachngpoe. Through these，students‘innovationabilityandabilitytosolve practical engineringproblemsarecultivatedandimproved.
