Research on the Challenges and Breakthrough Mechanism of Diversified ResettlementPath forRetiredAthletes in Guangdong Province

Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Trade，Guangzhou， Guangdong Province，51o43o China [Abstract] The retirement placement ofathletes is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of China's sports industry.This article takes Guangdong Provinceas an example to systematically explore the implementation botlenecks and breakthrough mechanisms of diversified resettlement paths for retired athletes. Research hasshownthat the current resetlementofretiredathletes in Guangdong Province faces threecore issues： insufficient protection ofsocial securityrights and interests，lack of legal support system，and design limitations of existing resetlement policies.In response to these issues，this article proposes asystematic breakthrough mechanism， which emphasizes the transformation from short-term compensation to long-term development， and from passve placement to active empowerment，by strengthening legal protection， innovating policy coordination， improving service systems，and expanding social participation in four dimensions.The mechanism aims to provide theoretical support and practical paths for establishinga modern athlete placement system in Guangdong Province.
