[Abstract] Under the strategic backgroundof integrating ecological civilization construction with cultural，sports and tourism development，canal ecological sports tourism，asan emerging form of tourism，is becominga new engine to activate lnearcultural heritage.This articlewilldeeplanalye theurrent developmentstatus，integrationcharacteistics， and chalenges faced by canal ecological sports tourism，and propose optimization paths to promote integrated development.Research has found that intherapid development process ofcanal ecological sports tourism，italsofaces problems such asuneven regional development，insuficient ecological carrying capacity，product homogenization，and imperfect managementsystem.To address these issues，this article proposes strategiessuchas establishing anecological threshold warning mechanism，developing a gradient product system，optimizing benefit distribution models，and introducing digital technology，inorder toachieveabalance between ecological protectionand tourism development， and promote the sustainable development of canal ecological sports tourism.
