[Abstract] The key to lifeactivities is thechemical reaction in the human body. Sports training based on sports biochemistry theory has important guiding significance for physical education.In the context of quality education， teachers must change their teaching concepts，innovate teaching methodsand sports forms.It aplies sports biochemistry theory to physical education teaching，and conducts targeted sports training based on the laws of students' physical developmentand physical fitnessdifferences.This article willbriefly analyze the main problems in physical education training incolegesanduniversities，exploretheroleof sportsbiochemistrytheory inphysicaleducationteaching，and propose the fective application strategies of sports biochemistry theory in physical education teaching and training， in order toscientifically caryout physical education teaching and training and promote the improvement of students' physical literacy.
