Modeling and Solving of Frictional Load Changes During Gear Meshing in Fixture Transmission

Abstract:Inorder toaccuratelyanalyzethefrictionloadofthemeshingcycleoffixturetransmisiongears,a modelingand solvingmethodforthevariationoffrictionloadduringthemeshingprocessoffixturetransmissongearsisstudied.The fixture transmision gear being consideredasasystem of multipledegresoffreedom,andbasedonthenonlinearrelationship between diferent degresoffreedomsystemsandthechanges inmeshing positions,parameterssuchasgeartooth stifessand meshing position sliparecombined toestablishacorrelation modelbetween meshing processof thefixture transmissiongearand the frictionload.Basedontheconstructionoftheinvoluteequationofthetothprofile,themodelissolvedbyanalyzingthe maximumcontact frictionandinstantaneouscontact frictionbetweenthegearteeth,andcalculating thenodeareacoeffcientnd elasticcoeficient.Uponteintroductinofananglecorrectioncoeffient,theinclinationangleofteconactlinisraisedto increase thefrictionstrengthbetweethefixture transmisiongears,bywhichthechanges infrictionloadiscalculated withmore accuracy.Thesimulationtestanalysisresultsshowthatthefrictionloadbetweentothsurfacesandthefrictionloadinthe tooth root bending area increases with the increase of the active transmission gear speed and node area coefficient.
