Abstract：This paper proposes an automatic measuring method forunfolding time offolding rudders concerning theproblemsof significant human factorsandlow effciencybythetraditional measurement methodforfoldingrudder unfolding time.Basedona microcontroler，anautomaticmeasurementdeviceforfoldingrudderunfoldingtimeisdesigned.Threebatchesoffoldingruders areselectedtomakeomparisonandanalysisontheproposedandtraditional measurement methods，whichverifies thereliability and stability of the automatic measurement device.
