Research on Carbon Emission Level Assessment Baise City Based on Urban-RAM Model

Abstract：Theurbanizationprocessignificantlyafects theglobalcarbon cycle，andaccuratelyassessing urbancarbon emissions is the keyto formulating low-carbon policies.Taking Baise cityin as the researcharea，theUrban-RAMmodel isapplied toevaluatetheenergyconsumptionandcarbon emisions related to residents’activities.Usingthestatisticalyearbookdata，residentexpendituresurveys，andtransportationdatareleasedby Baise cityovertheyears，thetotalcarbonemissions for2O23areestimated，andtheirmainsourcesaredecomposed.The results showthatthecarbondioxideemisionsinBaisecityin2O23 were2291740Ot，whichtheurbanoperatingcarbon emissions were130713t，theimplicitcarbon emissons were984610Ot，thepercapitacarbondioxide emissons were 6.53t，andthehouseholdcarbonemisionswere2O.O5t，residentialcarbonemissionsarethemaindrivingfactorforcarbon emissions in Baisecity.Theresearchresultsprovidedatasupportforlow-carbonurbanplaningin Baise cityandverify the applicability the Urban-RAM model in small and medium-sized developing cities.
