Evaluation of Low-Carbon Eco-City Development Level in Hezhou City Based on ELITE CitiesModel

Abstract：Withtheaccelerationofurbanization inChina，low-carboneco-cities havebecomethecoregoalofsustainable development.UsingtheELITECities modeldevelopedbyLawrence BerkeleyNationalLaboratory intheUnitedStates，the low-carbonecologicaldevelopmentlevelofHezhoucityGuangxi ZhuangAutonomousRegionis evaluated.Basedonthe ELITE Cities model，33key indicators （divided into eightcategories）areusedtoanalyzetheperformanceofHezhoucity inenergyandclimate，wateresoures，airqualityobility，landuse，wastemanagement，conomyndsocialalth，and compare it with thebest practices in China.Theresearch results indicate thattheoverallperformanceof Hezhou cityis good，but there is still room for improvement in land use，medical management，and other aspects.
