Research Progress on Recycling and Utilization of Waste Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathodes

Abstract：Withtherapidincreaseinthesizeof thenewenergyvehiclemarket，thequantityofwaste lithiumironphosphate bateries willsignificantlyriseinthecomingyears.Fromthe perspectiveofresourceutilizationandecologicalprotection， therecyclingandutilizationofwaste lithium ironphosphate bateriesisnecessaryandurgent.Firstly，thekeyroleof pretreatmentintherecyclingofwastelithiumironphosphatecathodes isemphasized，andthetechnicalchallnges itfaces arediscussed.Secondly，thecurrentrecyclingmethods forwaste lithiumironphosphatecathodesareoutlined，ncluding theirrespective treatmentprocessesandadvantagesanddisadvantages.Finaly，thefuturedevelopmentdirectionof recycling waste lithiumironphosphatecathodes isdiscused，emphasizingtheimportanceof technologicalinovationin promoting the sustainable development of the lithium iron phosphate battery industry.
