Research Progress on Recycling and Utilization of Waste Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathodes

Abstract:Withtherapidincreaseinthesizeof thenewenergyvehiclemarket,thequantityofwaste lithiumironphosphate bateries willsignificantlyriseinthecomingyears.Fromthe perspectiveofresourceutilizationandecologicalprotection, therecyclingandutilizationofwaste lithium ironphosphate bateriesisnecessaryandurgent.Firstly,thekeyroleof pretreatmentintherecyclingofwastelithiumironphosphatecathodes isemphasized,andthetechnicalchallnges itfaces arediscussed.Secondly,thecurrentrecyclingmethods forwaste lithiumironphosphatecathodesareoutlined,ncluding theirrespective treatmentprocessesandadvantagesanddisadvantages.Finaly,thefuturedevelopmentdirectionof recycling waste lithiumironphosphatecathodes isdiscused,emphasizingtheimportanceof technologicalinovationin promoting the sustainable development of the lithium iron phosphate battery industry.
