Abstract：Thesoilaroundchemical industrial parksoftensufers from heavymetalpollution，leading toadecline insoil qualityanddamage toecosystems.Heavy metalsare notonlydificult todegradenaturalybutalsoaccumulateinsoil， posing apotential threatto groundwater.Portable metal detector isarapidandaccurate instrumentfordetecting heavy metal contentinsoil，providingstrong tchnicalsupportforthetreatmentofheavymetalpolltioninthesuroundingsoilof chemicalindustrialparks.Basedonthehazardsofheavy metalpolutioninsoil，thetechnicalprinciplesofportablemetal measuring instrumentsarediscussd，andtheirapplicationindetecting heavymetalsofsoil isexploredaroundchemical industrialparks，inordertoimprovethelevelofsoilhavymetaldetection，promotetheremediationofpolutedsoil，and effectively protect the soil environment.
