Abstract：Toimprove theecological environmentofslopes，atypical highwayslopeinarockydesertificationareain southwesternChinais takenasanexample toanalyze thehighecologicaleficiencyprotectionmethodsadopted.Afterthe implementation，the vegetation coverage rate has increased from less than 30% to more than 80% ，slope stability has been greatlyimproved，ispacementatehaseensgnificantlyduced，soilqualityhaseensigniicantlyimproed，oste functionshavebeenenhanced，soilerosionhasbeenefectivelycontrolld，carbon fixationcapacityhasbeenenhanced，nd practical referenceand technical support have beenprovidedfor road slope protection inrocky desertification areas.
