Abstract：This paper focuses on the identification and treatmentof polutionsources in river and lake basins，analyzing indetailthe main sourcesand spatial distribution characteristics ofpollution inriverand lakebasins，exploringthe impactofvarious pollution sources on waterquality，andproposing methods foridentifying polutionsources.Finally，the comprehensive managementstrategies for polutionsources inriverand lake basins areanalyzed，including theuseof hydrological hydrodynamic waterqualitymodels，strengthening sourcecontrolandpolltantreduction，restoringriverand lake ecosystems，andconstructingaliving watercyclesystem，aiming toprovide scientific gudanceandtheoreticalsupport for the management of water environment in river basins.
