Study on Soil Monitoring Around an Atmospheric Deposition Hazardous Waste Treatment Enterprise inEastern Henan

Abstract:Theenvironmental hazardsofatmosphericdepositionhazardous waste treatmententerprisesin Chinaaremainly manifestedintheaccumulationofheavy metals insoil.To studytheimpactofsuchenterprisesonthesuroundingsoil environment in eastern Henan,atypical hzardous waste treatment enterprise ineastern Henan was taken asanexample.Heavy metal elementssuchasAs,Cd,Cr,Cu,Pb,Hg,Ni,Znwereselected,andthemerowcomprehensiveindexmetod,lad accumulation index method,andpotential ecologicalhazard index method wereused tocarryout soilmonitoringandrisk assessmentinthesurroundingarea.Theresults showedthattherewasasignificantaccumulationofheavy metals inthesoil around the enterprise,and the order of contribution to ground accumulation pollution was Cd>Hg>Cu>Cr>Zn> (20 Pb>As>Ni. Cd and Hg reached a strong ecological hazard level.Research has shown that soil monitoring and pollution preventioninthe vicinityofatmospheric depositionhazardous waste treatmententerprises ineastern Henan shouldfocus on the soilenvironmentofadjacentareas,andstrengthentheinvestigationofsoilpolltionhazardsandself-monitoringofsoil in enterprises in response to the discovery of high pollution contributing heavy metals.
