Research Progress on Egg Freshness Non-Destructive Testing

Abstract: Freshness is an important indicator of egg quality. Traditional methods for detecting eg freshness are slow and heavily influenced by subjective factors,making them suitable only for random sampling.Therefore,the application of non-destructive testing technologies inegg freshness detection is particularly important.This article providesan overview of thecurrent research status of machine vision technology,electronic nose technologyspectral technology,and dielectric properties technologyinegg freshnessdetection,and focuses onanalyzing theresearch progress of infrared thermal imaging technology in related fields and egg freshness detection.The analysis suggests that infrared thermal imaging technologycanbeused todetect the freshness of diffrent varieties ofeggsand achieves better non-destructive detection of egg freshness.
