[Abstract]Objective: To explore the clinical effect of compression cross-locking Kirschner wire fixation in patients with open phalangeal fractures.Method: A total of 81 patients with a clear diagnosis ofopen phalangeal fracturesadmitted to Xiamen Fifth Hospital from February 2O2Oto April 2O25 were included as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the experimental group ( n =41) and the control group ( n =40) according to the random number table method. The experimental group was treated with compresson cross-locking Kirschner wire fixation, while the control group was treated with micro-plate internal fixation. The intraoperative blood lossoperation time, fracture healing time, excellent and good rate of total active finger flexion score (TAFS),and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Result: The operation time in the experimental group was shorter than thatin the control group, the intraoperative blood losswas lessthan thatin the control group, and the fracture healing time was earlier than that in the control group ( P <0.05). One month after the operation, the excellent and good rate of TAFS in the experimental group was 95.1% ,significantly higher than 80.0% in the control group ( P <0.05).The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 4.9% ,significantly lower than 22.5% (20 in the control group ( P <0.05).Conclusion: For patients with open phalangeal fractures, the use of compression cross-locking Kirschner wire fixation treatment can reduce surgical trauma, shorten theoperation time and fracture healing time, improve finger motor function, and lower the incidence of complications.
