[Abstract] Objective：To investigate the effects of Linagliptinonurinaryalbumin and blood glucose in elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy（DN）.Method： A total of 8O elderly patients with DN admited to Department of Nephrology，Rheumatologyand Immunology，Xiamen Susong Hospital from December 2023 to September 2O24 were selected and randomly divided into the control group （ =40， treated with Niaoduqing Granules combined with Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets）andtheobservation group （n=4O，treated with Niaoduqing Granules combined with Linagliptin Tablets）.All patients were treated for12 weeks. Urinary albumin，blood glucose[fasting plasma glucose （FPG）and2 h postprandial plasma glucose （2hPG）]，renal function indexes [Scr，BUN，estimated glomerular filtrationrate （eGFR）]andthe incidenceof adverse reactions in the two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed.Result： Aftertreatment，the levelsof urinaryalbuminand blood glucose inboth groups were significantly lower than those before treatment，and therenal function indexes were significantly improved （ P <0.05）. After treatment，the levels of urinary albuminand blood glucose inthe observation group were significantly lower than those inthecontrol group，and the renalfunction indexes were significantly beter than those in the control group
