[Abstract]Objective： To explore the clinical value of poking-rod support technique for reduction in the treatmentof irreducible intertrochanteric femoralfractures.Method：A total of6O patients whomet the diagnostic criteria for irreducible intertrochanteric femoral fractures in Yangdong District People's Hospital，Yangjiang City from May 2O21 to April 2O25 were selected. Using the random number table method，they were assigned to an observation group（ n =30）andacontrol group（ n =30）.All patientsunderwent proximal femoral nail antirotation fixation.The control group received limited open reduction，while the observation group was treated with the pokingrodsupport technique for reduction.Intraoperative indicators，imaging indicators，functional recovery indicators， and complication rates were compared betweenthe two groups.Result： The total operative time and reduction time were significantly shorter in the observation group compared tothe control group，and intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group （ P <0.05）.The rate of Garden index grade I in the observation group after the operation was higherthanthat inthe control group，the change ofcervical-shaft angle 3 months after the operation was smallerthan thatin thecontrol group，and the callus formation score was higherthan thatin thecontrol group （ P-
