Abstract: Amid the ongoing profound reform and innovation in university teaching models, scientifically sound curriculum assessment methods can effectively contribute to enhancing teaching efficiency and achieving educational objectives. Plant Physiology is a discipline that investigates the principles of plant life activities and their interactions with the environment, aiming to explore plant physiological and metabolic processes as well as their environmental response mechanisms. The theoretical insights derived from this field are applied to social production practices, making it a compulsory professional course in agriculture, science, and related disciplines. With the advancement of teaching reforms in higher education, both the instructional approaches and teaching efficiency in Plant Physiology have seen significant improvements. However, current teaching practices in this course still face issues such as "slow updates in course content, monotonous assessment methods, an overemphasis on theory at the expense of practice, and insufficient integration of ideological and political education within the curriculum." Therefore, innovating teaching modes and optimizing curriculum assessment methods remain particularly essential.
