Abstract： Advanced Topics in Plant Chemical Protection is a core degree course for master's students majoring in the first-level discipline of Plant Protection， which incorporates abundant ideological and political education elements. Based on the characteristics of the course and the orientation of postgraduate training， this study thoroughly explores the potential ideological and political resources， and probes into effective paths for the deep integration of ideological and political education with professional teaching， so as to achieve the goal of collaborative education integrating knowledge imparting and value guidance. It innovatively designs methods and strategies for integrating ideological and political elements into classroom teaching and scientific research practice， verifies the teaching effectiveness through student feedback， and aims to comprehensively improve postgraduates' professional competence， academic ethics， social responsibility as well as their patriotism and sense of mission. This research is expected to provide a referenceable practical paradigm for the ideological and political construction of postgraduate professional courses in agricultural colleges and universities.
