Abstract: In the context of the construction of New Agricultural Science and the Rural Revitalization Strategy, Crop Cultivation, as a core course in agricultural majors, bears the critical mission of cultivating new-type agricultural and forestry talents who "understand agriculture, love rural areas, and care for farmers". This paper aims to explore how to systematically construct and effectively implement the ideological and political education system within the Crop Cultivation curriculum. Based on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and adhering to the trinity educational philosophy of "knowledge impartation, ability cultivation, and value guidance", the study proposes a logical pathway for integrating ideological and political elements ranging from "professional identity" to "sentiment for agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" and further to "national mission". At the level of system construction, the focus is on the top-level design of ideological and political objectives, the in-depth exploration of ideological and political elements, and the modular restructuring of teaching content. At the level of practical pathways, it systematically elaborates on the innovative application of diverse teaching methods such as case-based teaching, field practice, and blended learning, and constructs a multi-dimensional evaluation system integrating process evaluation and ideological-political literacy assessment. The study aims to provide a theoretical framework and practical paradigm for the ideological and political education reform of specialized courses in agricultural universities.
