Abstract： According to the first to sixth batches of the list of traditional Chinese villages， we conducted on-site visits to traditional villages in Leizhou and interviewed multiple villagers in the form of a questionnaire survey to understand the development status of traditional villages in Leizhou from multiple angles， levels and directions， and compare it with traditional villages in Meizhou area. The demonstration counties for concentrated contiguous protection of villages are compared， with a view to providing centralized contiguous protection and development strategies for traditional villages in Leizhou.

传统村落保护问题可追溯至2011年，时任国务院总理温家宝同志在中央文史研究馆成立60周年座谈会上，就“古村落的保护就是工业化、城镇化过程中对于物质遗产、非物质遗产以及传统文化的保护”发表讲话，并作出加强保护工作的指示，会上要求摸清我国传统村落底数，加强保护和改善传统村落[1]。（剩余8183字）
