Abstract：People'shealthisavitalindicatorofnationalprosperityandacountry'sstrength，andsafeguarding farmers' health constitutes an essential prerequisitefor advancing agriculturalandrural modernization.Drawingon survey data from 832farmers，thisstudyemploysanorderedLogit modeland mediationefect modelstoexplore theimpactof agricultural machineryserviceutilizationonfarmers’healthlevels，whilefurtheranalyzingitsunderlying mechanisms andheterogeneity.Theresearchrevealsthattheimprovementsinthelevelofagricultural machineryserviceutilization significantly enhance farmers’health，andthe conclusioncan remain robust across multiple tests.Mechanismaalysis indicatesthatagriculturalmachineryserviceutilizationafectsfarmers’healthconditionsthroughtwoprimarychannels.On theonehand，theutilizationofagricultural machineryservicescanreduce theagricultural laborintensityoffarmers， thereby improving their health outcomes，with a mediating effect accounting for 28.32% of the total effect.On the otherhad，itcanhelpincreasefarmers’income，whichinturnpromotesbetterhealth，withamediatingefectaccountingfor 9.18% of thetotaleffect.Heterogeneityanalysis furthershowsthattheimpactofagriculturalmachineryserviceutilizationon thehealthoffarmersofdiferentagegroupsandindifferentregions is heterogeneous.Specifically，althoughtheutilization ofagricultural machineryservices exertsasignificant positiveeffectonthehealthoffarmersacrossallage groups，the impactismorepronouncedamongelderlyfarmers.Moreover，whiletheeffctisinsignificant onthehealth levelof farmers inhilland mountainous areas，theutilizationofagricultural machineryservicecansignificantly improve the health level offarmersinplainregions.Basedonthese findings，efforts shouldbe madeto furtherpromotethedevelopment ofagricultural machinery socialized servicesin China，acceleratetheresearch and developmentofagricultural machinery，and at the same time advance machinery-friendly transformation of farmland.
